GOOD NEWS FOR JIM
JIM has permanent custody of Tabitha Marie Floyd, his
great-granddaughter, and the eight-year-old is changing her name
to Tabitha Marie Owen. Marie Owen was JIM's mother's name. He
got custody on Jan., 14th 2009. |

| JIM OWEN, was
inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame on August
28, 2007 during the National Traditional Country
Music Association's (NTCMA) annual old time music festival to
be held in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Of course Jim Owen is no
stranger to Halls of Fame - His August 28th Hall of Fame
induction it is his fifth hall of fame to honor him. He
already has a display in the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, he is
a "Friend" in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage,
Texas (he can't be a full member because he was not born in
Texas), he is a member of the Branson Entertainers Hall of Fame,
and a member of the George D. Hay Foundation and Country Music
Hall of Fame. |
