Just before
Christmas I received the album Jim Owen sings with friends and
Heroes. |
It was almost like getting an early
Christmas gift, when I looked at the track list, and who was
singing with Jim Owen. I already knew then I was in for
something good.
Then I placed the CD in the player and turned up the volume.
After only 5 seconds I was confirmed about my thoughts. This has
to be good. I came to track 2 and still it was confirming me.
And with yet another 20 tracks to go I was waiting to find at
least one song I could say: No this one I won’t let go on air.
When I came to last song on the album, I had still not found
that one song to skip. So I played it one more time, and came up
with same result. 3rd time I realized, this song is
not to be found on this album, it simply don’t exist. This album
is unique, it’s a pearl, it’s a milestone, it’s country music
history, and should have highest priority by anyone who loves
the real country music. |

There was no doubt in my mind what
CD I would place as “Album of the Month” through out January
2007 on my Country-Action Show, which aires on 16 FM stations in
Denmark weekly.
